Spruce Peak Arts Announces a Captivating Season of Live Performances in Stowe, Vermont

The curtain is rising on a brand-new season at Spruce Peak Arts, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most dynamic and diverse lineups yet.

From iconic rock bands and rising indie voices to masterful classical musicians and joyful holiday experiences, the 2025–26 season promises unforgettable nights in the heart of Vermont. Here’s a sampling of what’s coming up this season.

Rock Returns with The Wallflowers and Phantom Planet
The season kicks off in high gear with The Wallflowers on July 13 at 6 pm, delivering the unmistakable sound that’s defined them for over three decades.
Fronted by Jakob Dylan, the group returns with Exit Wounds, their first album in nine years, proving once again why “The Wallflowers is much of my life’s work,” Dylan says.
Then, on August 3 at 6 pm, early-2000s alt-rock heroes Phantom Planet hit the stage, best known for their iconic hit California, and celebrated for their wildly engaging live shows. Following their 2019 reunion, the band continues to evolve, delivering high energy and a melodic punch that resonates across generations.
Note: These performances are part of our Summer Series and are scheduled for the Village Green outdoors. In the event of extreme weather, performances will be moved inside. Rain or Shine ticket holders are guaranteed entry to the indoor venue.
Spruce Peak Unplugged Presents: Homegrown in Vermont Festival
August 23, starting at 12 pm
This full-day celebration of Vermont’s homegrown talent brings together beloved local acts including Devon McGarry Band, The Tenderbellies, Jesse Taylor Band, Ryan Sweezey & the Midnight Walkers, and a special tribute: Ryan Miller and Friends do The Kinks.
Come early, stay late, and celebrate the vibrant music community that calls Vermont home.
A Bold Voice in Indie Folk: Katie Pruitt
August 28, 6 pm
Following her critically acclaimed debut, Expectations, Katie Pruitt returns with Mantras, a transformative collection that explores identity, healing, and the pursuit of truth.
Pruitt shares, “One of the big themes of this record is the idea of building a home inside yourself rather than seeking it in others.” With raw honesty and fierce musicality, her performance is set to be one of the most soul-stirring of the season.
A Conversation with Ira Glass
September 27, 7 pm
Legendary storyteller and host of This American Life, Ira Glass takes the stage for an intimate evening exploring storytelling, journalism, and the power of radio.
With over five million weekly listeners and nine Peabody Awards, Glass brings decades of insight, humor, and heart to this rare live experience.
Spruce Peak Unplugged: Northeast Autumn Series

A two-time Grammy nominee and six-time IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year, Sierra Hull brings her groundbreaking sound and intimate storytelling to Stowe, joined by musical legends like Béla Fleck and Aoife O’Donovan on her latest release. - Teddy Thompson | October 11, 7 pm
A master of the three-minute pop song, Teddy Thompson delivers sharp songwriting and vintage-inspired sounds on his new album Heartbreaker Please. From doo-wop to 80s synth pop, his set will offer heartfelt wit and toe-tapping honesty.
Michael Feinstein: Big Band Celebrations – A Tribute to Tony Bennett

The incomparable Michael Feinstein honors his close friend and American icon, Tony Bennett, in this breathtaking evening featuring the Carnegie Hall Ensemble.
“Tony Bennett is one of the most enduring icons of the 20th century. He has created a body of work surpassed by none,” says Feinstein. Expect classics like “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” and “Rags to Riches,” all performed with the elegance and style that defined a generation.
Progressive Americana: Nefesh Mountain Band

Hailed by Rolling Stone as “a powerhouse unit,” Nefesh Mountain Band blends Bluegrass, Folk, Jazz, and Jewish musical tradition with virtuosic musicianship and soul-searching lyrics. Their deeply personal sound reflects both their heritage and the boundless energy of roots music today.
An Evening with Livingston Taylor
November 20, 7 pm
With more than 50 years of performing, Livingston Taylor returns to Spruce Peak Arts with a songbook that spans folk, jazz, gospel, and pop. Known for hits like I Will Be in Love with You, and celebrated as a Berklee College of Music professor, Taylor is a storyteller and educator as much as a performer, offering wisdom, warmth, and musical mastery.
Roomful of Teeth
December 3, 7 pm
The Grammy-winning vocal ensemble Roomful of Teeth redefines what the human voice can do. With boundary-breaking techniques and global influences, this group creates vocal music like nothing you’ve ever heard—experimental, emotional, and unforgettable.
Seán Heely’s Celtic Christmas
