Carve for a Cause: High Fives Foundation’s Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon Returns to Sugarbush
March 9, 2025: Get ready to hit the slopes for an incredible cause.

The High Fives Foundation’s Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon is back at Sugarbush Resort for an adrenaline-packed day of skiing, snowboarding, and community spirit.
From 9 am to 3 pm, participants will carve turns, chase personal bests, and celebrate winter with an epic après-ski party—all while raising funds to support adaptive athletes and veterans recovering from life-altering injuries.
What started in 2011 as a small gathering of local Vermonters has grown into a must-attend annual event, drawing skiers and riders of all abilities—including adaptive athletes who inspire us all with their determination and grit.
“High Fives empowers the outdoor sports community through the power of resilience and philanthropy,” said Roy Tuscany, Founder and CEO of High Fives Foundation. “The Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon is a chance for Vermonters to rally together, turn their passion for skiing and snowboarding into impact, and have a blast doing it!”

- Gather Pledges – Each participant must raise a minimum of $150 to compete. The more you raise, the more awesome prizes you can win!
