Get ready for a weekend of fuzzy snuggles, outdoor fun, and farmyard discoveries: Billings Farm & Museum is thrilled to welcome guests of all ages to Baby Farm Animal Weekend, happening April 26 & 27, 2025.

It’s a spring celebration full of adorable animals, hands-on activities, delicious food, and memorable family experiences.

Meet the Babies


From bouncing goat kids to curious piglets and fluffy chicks, the cutest residents of the farm are ready to greet you! Guests will also get to meet special visitors for the weekend, including:

  • Lambs from Aker Fiber Farm
  • Goat kids from Cabin Hill Farm
  • Fiber goats from Starry Eyed Farm
  • Bunnies from Farm & Wilderness

Get up close and personal with our animal ambassadors and learn how the farm caretakers care for the resident calves, chicks, and piglets on the farm. Rangers from Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park will visit to share fun facts about baby animals in the wild.

Kid-Approved Fun
Little ones will love story time with a farm friend, an animal-themed obstacle course, and a sensory table filled with farm-inspired textures and surprises.

Farm Fresh Flavors
Refuel with farm-friendly fare from Sustainable Eats and Heidi’s Hot Dogs, available 10 pm – 5 pm daily. Craving something sweet? Stop by the Farmhouse Scoop Shop for Vermont-made ice cream, snacks, drinks, and cookies.

Shop the Baby Animal Vibes
Don’t leave without a stop at our Museum Gift Shop, brimming with baby animal-inspired treasures, mementos, and oh-so-huggable stuffed animals to bring the farm fun home.
