The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center (BMAC) and the Vermont Glass Guild are thrilled to present Dinner on Glass for a second year — a sizzling event at Fire Arts Vermont.

On November 2, from 5 to 9 pm, renowned glass artists and top chefs will join forces at Solinglass, the Brattleboro studio of glass artist Randi Solin, for an unforgettable artistic and culinary experience.

Produced by Glasstronomy—a collaboration between glass artist Robert DuGrenier and chef Alex Sorenson—this unique event showcases the thrilling process of cooking on glass heated to over 2,100°F. The molten glass will be prepped by artists while chefs steam, sear, and caramelize dishes using this extraordinary technique.

“It’s a magical blend of art forms—glassblowing, culinary arts, and live music—all in one unforgettable experience,” says Solin.

Joining Sorenson in crafting the meal are chefs Neal Myers (Silver Spring Country Club), John Gould (Fennel & Fig Catering), and Luis Sanchez and Iliana Nedoklanova (Amaru Gourmet). The menu will honor the Day of the Dead, paired with wine from Artisanal Cellars and a special cocktail by Saxtons Distillery. Project Platypus will provide live music.

Born from casual dinners experimenting with glass cooking, Glasstronomy has grown into a sensational culinary art collaboration. Sorenson describes it as “an exciting exploration of heat, art, and food, creating new experiences for our guests.”

Tickets are $350 ($315 for BMAC and Vermont Glass Guild members) and must be purchased in advance at brattleboromuseum.org. Proceeds benefit BMAC and the Vermont Glass Guild.
